About Me

The phone rang, and I placed the scarf I was crocheting on the end of the couch, with my hook holding the last stitch, and hopped up to answer the phone. When I returned, “Legs” had stretched out on the couch, kicked the scarf into the corner which caused the crochet hook to fall under the couch cushions and the yarn ball to roll into the floor, undoing stitches as it went. Typical of my life–threads to untangle and make right, often after someone else tangled them up.

(“Legs” is my child who has an impossibly long inseam measurement and a complete inability to look before sitting.)

Loose Threads is a record of my creative journey through life, trying to enjoy the chaos and possibly turn it into something beautiful.
